Clients will receive complimentary product samples simply for checking in and posting a short statement about their appointment. Clients can also post reviews about Statements The Academy on 6 different websites. For each review, clients should print it out and bring it to their next appointment and receive 10% of their visit! December 15, 2015Statements the Academy is looking for talented and creative beauty industry instructors who specialize in hair, make-up, or manicure/pedicure techniques to join the team and be a part of our leading edge, fast-growing cosmetology program. We are in need of both part-time and full-time instructors for day, evening and Saturday classes.
The right candidate will be a highly motivated professional. Applicants should possess a passion towards education and sharing their knowledge. The ability to inspire, engage and motivate students and team members in a positive manner is highly valued.
Some of the responsibilities you will be expected to perform are:
- Instruct different phases of the curriculum using our methodology
- Develop students’ skills and encourage growth, evaluate students, track their attendance, performance records, and grades
- Willingness to work hours at our salon for on the job training to integrate you into our methodology
- Participate regularly in continuing professional development activities
- Participate in various administrative activities.
Qualified candidates will posses:
- Related teaching experience is a bonus
- Current working knowledge of salon management software such as SalonBiz
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point is a plus.
Please be prepared to provide License(s), Certifications and Resume.
In addition to offering a competitive hourly rate and the training and support you need to reach your full potential as an instructor within our Academy, we offer full salon and product benefits. We are closed the week between Christmas and New Year, as well as the week of the Fourth of July. Additional benefits will be negotiated.
*Teaching skills will be evaluated after the interview.

STA has made some changes in our hours of operation! Our office and salon appointments hours are now as follows: Tuesday 12 pm – 8pm, Wednesday through Friday 9 am – 8 pm, and Saturday 9 am – 5 pm. Please check back for any future updates!
